Really yummy! I didnt have Italian spice, so I used cilantro. Next time, i will use less broth (or more peas) to make it thicker.
Forgot to leave the stars!
This turned out so well. My husband loved it ans even my young kids ate it! I added some peas, cooked separately. Very good
So delicious!
I want to use a pound of split peas. How do I adjust this recipe in time and ingredients?
Hi Cana Davis,
Typically increasing the amount your are cooking doesn’t alter the cooking time.
If you have our app you can increase the serving size and the ingredients will adjust accordingly.
I used green split peas instead and it was delicious. I’m definitely going to make again.

Is there a substitute for broth in this recipe I can use?
Broth adds a lot of the flavour in this recipe but you could use water.
