I added tumeric to the spice and it came out very nice. But it takes over 2 hours from prep to table. I will cook it again but only on a time i hsve alot of time.
This was real tasty & will repeat…And the prep time is way off. Give yourself an hour
This came out really good. I agree that it could use some more spices. But the turkey was perfect. Potatoes reallt good and i also made the gravy.
Can i di this with turkey breast
Hi Wendy,
When making substitutions in recipes you may need to alter cooking time.
This is a really great recipe. Super easy. I found that it gets too salty with all the “extra layer of flavor” additions. I like to season the turkey, then brown it for 6 minutes per side. And season at the end if it needs it.
How the hell did anyome get the lid on the pot with the turkey and steam basket?????
