Ingredients
For making Ground beef balls
  • 1 Lb ground beef
  • 1 onion minced
  • 1/2 green pepper minced
  • 1/2 red pepper minced
  • 1 stalk green onions minced
  • 2 handfuls cilantro minced
  • 1 tsp Chili powder or Cayenne
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
For making the sauce
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Beef broth left on the aluminum foil after cooking beef balls
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp if you need this dish to be spicy
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pack Cooked Spaghetti
  • 2 handfuls cilantro chopped

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients to make the beef balls.
  2. Make small balls out of the mix and keep aside.
  3. Turn on the Instant Pot.
  4. Add 1 cup water into the stainless steel pot.
  5. Place the trivet on the water.
  6. Place the aluminum foil on the trivet- make it into a bowl shape.
  7. Place the beef balls on the foil.
  8. Close the pot with the lid.
  9. If using 7 in 1 or 7 in 1 DUO- turn the knob to Sealing. In Ultra, no need to worry about turning to sealing.
  10. Select the pressure cook mode. ( In 7 in 1 DUO: Manual- high pressure. Click Adjust- set time to 10 minutes).
  11. In Ultra: Set the time to 10 minutes, and at high pressure, click start.
  12. After 10 minutes of pressure cooking, do a natural pressure release (NPR)- takes about 20 minutes.
  13. Open the lid, beef balls will be cooked perfectly. There will be some beef broth left on the aluminum foil- we will be adding this while making the sauce.
  14. In the meantime, cook the spaghetti in a large pot filled with water and seasoned with salt and 1 tbsp oil.
  15. Drain the water from the cooked spaghetti and keep aside.
  16. Let's make the sauce.
  17. Turn on the Saute Mode, at normal temperature.
  18. When the display shows Hot. Add 1 tbsp oil.
  19. Add onion, season with 1/2 tsp salt- combine well and saute till onions turn golden in color.
  20. Add tomato sauce, water and the beef broth. Combine well and cook for 3 minutes.
  21. Add chili powder, dried oregano, ground cumin and salt. combine well.
  22. Add the cooked beef balls, pour the sauce over the beef balls.
  23. Add the cooked spaghetti. Using a tong, gently mix with the sauce- don't combine vigorously as the beef balls can break apart.
  24. Garnish with cilantro.
  25. Place the spaghetti along with the sauce on a bowl and top with beef balls. Enjoy this hearty and healthy spaghetti and meat balls.
Recipe Notes

Beef balls can be topped on salads, wrapped in pita bread or tortilla; so many options for making quick fix meals.
