This recipe is incomplete. It does not finish the steps of blending. From experience i kniw how to make hummus, but the blending steps need to be added.
I agree with the previous person, recipe needs to be revised to include missing steps
Right! They forgot several steps.
Thank you for your feedback! We were absolutely missing a step so we’ve updated it now.
The hummus it’s self is fine.
I followed all of the directions, and had to add 5 more cups of water and and about 35 more minutes of cook time to get the chickpeas cooked through. This made it a bit of a frustrating process.
We have the ultra model amd the bean/chili setting only goes to 30 minites.
This recipe is easy to make, but needs seasoning. If I had lemon juice on hand, I would add a teaspoon. I added extra salt abd pepper and added paprika. I don’t have a food processor. Instead of using my blender and splitting the blending, I put the ingredients back in the Instant Pot pot and used my immersion blender to blend. For the person with an Ultra, on bean/chili, use the knob to select and click the time, and adjust as needed.
This is easily the worst hummus recipe i have ever made.
For starters. Hummus needs tahini
Second lemon juice and more olive oil.
Hi Shteen,
For a more traditional humus tahini, lemon juice and olive oil can definitely be added.
