This has to be made “pot in pot”! Not enough liquid to build steam – burned on bottom. Both Six Sisters and 365 days ladies said this!
This has to be made “pot in pot! Not enough liquid to build steam pressure and consequently burned on the bottom and was dried out. Other instant pot bloggers tell you that!
Same experience as other posts. Went to “burn” before establishing pressure. Maybe next time I will let the inner pot and the base cool completely before setting for pressure cook or another option may be putting the ingredients in a baking dish on the trivet with a cup of water in the inner pot to establish the right pressure. It might take longer and not get crispy though. Once I got the eggs cooked it turned out be a delicious dish that the whole family enjoyed. I will post again later.
I followed the instructions but got the burn message as soon as i put it on low pressure for 1 minute…ended up finishing off in the over…first ever Instapot fail!!
I attempted this is my Instant Pot this morning for breakfast. I followed the directions to a T, and the eggs did not cook. So, I put the eggs on for another few minutes, and nothing. After about 45 minutes total of trying to figure out what was going wrong, I gave up. I was left with a burnt pot and inedible goop.
I give it one star ONLY because the bacon sauted perfectly.
