How do you need to cook it if you want to double the recipe
Added a splash of Beef Stock! It was a hit among our family!
Super easy, and super good! A win win in my book
Not hearing steam. Round 1…fizzled
Round 2… heard steam very short period of time. I dont see it coming out of the pot though. I’ve been googling but the info is overwhelming
The amount of steam produced is due to the amount of liquid in the inner pot. This can vary depending on the recipe. Simply let the pressure cooker come to pressure on its own, if there is an issue an error message will be displayed.
Sat here wondering where I could find honey chopped chives when I realized that you missed a line break in the recipe.
Honey Chopped Chives?????
I used this recipe and got a message “burn” on my instant pot. I removed everything checked the inner pot and inner plate. I started it again and got the same message. Any ideas??
Has anyone tried this with ground turkey?
Easy ans delicious!

Don’t miss out on this one!
Thank you.
Got burn message and now trying again and its taking forever to either come to pressure or its going to give me the burn message…
I even added a little more bbq sauce for a little extra liquid.
Used 1lb of frozen chicken meatballs in 2 cups of spaghetti sauce (needed a quick/foundation recipe)…were perfect, i’ll def try out the bourbon glaze as well!
Same as a few others. Got a “burn” message straight away despite mixing everything up well. After restarting, I got the burn message again. Guess I won’t be doing this again.
Hi Gary,
Remember to always deglaze your Instant Pot before restarting. If this step isn’t done, this could cause bits of food pieces to stick to the bottom, causing the “burn” message to appear.
What type of bourbon is used? And using it in cooking removes the alcohol, right? Can you tell I’m new to this?
Hi christy,
Yes, when the bourbon is cooking with the rest of the ingredients, the alcohol content will evaporate since it’s cooking at a high enough temperature. It is to your preference, so any bourbon will do.
Can i use regular bbq or honey barbecue
Hi Mara,
You can use your preferred BBQ sauce, this recipe is flexible.
Which level of pressure?
