So so good, topped with fresh pico de gallo
A hit with the family!
Enjoyed with the family. Next time i will cut down on the cinnamon sticks or eliminate all together. The taste was too strong for my liking. But very good overall and easy to do.
Best tacos ever! My family loved them.
Overall: very good recipe!
Changes: I decided to not add the cinnamon sticks- flavor didn’t suffer.
Next time: only add the rinds of one orange- I could taste it throughout the meat!
Wow!! Best ever!!
After 14 years if natriage, I made these carnitas the other night and my husband said it wasbthe best dinner I’vebever made! I doubled the spices, and left out the garlic. Delicious!
Delicious! Best use of a pork shoulder I have ever experienced.
It was good but next time I would not cook it with the rinds as the directions say. I think it made the meat have a bit of a funny after taste that I didn’t like.
Making this now , doesnt specify the pressure cook level, assuming its high? Thanks
Whatever you do don’t leave the rinds in because the carnitas tastes bitter. Otherwise the recipe is good.
This is a great recipe. I’ve made it twice now. At the end I lay thr meat oit of a baking sheet and brown them up a bit. Delicious
Have made this twice now. So good!
I made this dish minus the Rinds and Cinnimon sticks. Turned out fantastic with great flavor! Family loved it!
Awesome recipe!!!
This was delicious! I doubled spices. Next time, I’d sub a ground cinnamon for the cinn stick as the stick left no flavor at all. I also read the reviews and only added the rind of half and orange/half lime to avoid bitterness, was fine. Broiled shredded pork bc I love the crispy pieces. Served w pickled red onions, black beans, saffron rice, and crumbled queso blanco, and cilantro. My husband said it was def his fave IP meal!
Definitely best ever! Didn’t add cinnamon sticks only because I didn’t have and i added a jalapeno. Came out great!
Delicious!!! My husband loved it!
Loved them. Next time i will onit the cinnamon sticks, i didn’t love that layer of the flavoring.
Made this a few times now without broiling the meat after cooking. Delicious! Used as tostadas topping. Yum.
Great! The kids and my dad loved it! Put 300ml of orange juice with 3 orange and 3 lime.
