Beef It’s What’s for Dinner is funded by the Beef Checkoff. The Beef Checkoff was established as part of the 1985 Farm Bill. It’s a national marketing and research program funded by America’s cattle farmers and ranchers. Cattle farmers, ranchers and importers direct the national checkoff program, which uses funds toward research and promotion efforts designed to increase domestic and/or international demand for beef. The Cattlemen’s Beef Board and USDA oversee the collection and spending of these beef checkoff funds.

I can’t rate it because the instructions are ambiguous. Says to cook mango sauce using 1-1/2 mangos in sauce pan then never says what to do with it after that. Likewise, when you remove meat from IP we are instructed to then add remaining mangos and stir—but what so we add them to? The IP? The mango sauce that is still on stove? The meat? I want to try this recipe, but it is incomplete.
I agree with Poddle Girl. The instructions need some tweeking, but overall this recipe looks amazing, just needs to be adjusted so that the instructions can be more easily understood.
While the ribs were cooked perfectly Actually falling off the bone. I found the sauce recipe useless. I would prefer to pressure cook both ribs and fruit and may try thst myself. The BBQ just overpowered everything.
These were fantastic. I added the 1/2 mangos to the suace at the end just before i poured over the finished ribs. I also used beef ribs. I had some bone in and some without the bones. Simple meal.
Its tasty, the directions could have been a little better.
This was delicious. My first try using my Instant Pot and SUCCESS! My only wish was that the sauce could somehow have been done in the Instant Pot as well but even so, Yummy!
The BBQ sauce was fantastic and the ribs were perfect. Forget adding mango at the end. Take the ribs out right onto a plate and add a tablespoon plus of the mango bbq to each!
I am trying this tonight but without sauce because i agree about the directions. I will probably add some BBQ sauce to the drippings.
Does anyone proof read these instructions?
Amazing! And so simple too!
Turned out great with my changes. Grated ginger, Famous Daves BBQ and less mango.
Turned out great! The ginger had a kick, i would cut back on some of the ginger and mango. The short ribs were delicious! Im wondering if you could get the same result with a thick chuck roast?
I’m lost on the instrustion at the end,
When ribs are done cooking remove the liquidize fat form the top of the liquid that remains after pressure cooking. Once skimmed pour that liquid over the ribs.
