This is a regular meal at my house. My teen son loves to use the barbecue lentils to make sloppy joes.

The recipe was great as is, but would reduce the molasses a little as the brand i used was perhaps a little over the top

Very tasty! Did not have liquid smoke, so had to make do with spices on hand (1tsp each smoked paprika, Vindaloo, brown sugar, + 2.5 tsp coconut oil). Result was a bit liquid after cooking, so added 2Tbsp each corn starch & water. Can easily see how this makes excellent sloppy joes!

This was my very first meal in my brand new IP.

This did NOT cook in 10 minutes. It didn’t even cook in 20 minutes. Yes I followed the recipe. Yes i had the valve closed. The beans are STILL hard and all of the water is just standing. If i coukd give a negative star rating i would.

This was delicious! I changed only: instead if baked potatoes, added little chunks of potatoes in the instapot. Instead of catsup, used spaghetti sauce. It came out creamy, the potatoes were great mixed in. Loved it.

I really like how easy this was to make. I also added brown sugar to mine. I did not make the potatoes, so instead I made rice. It really went well together. I will make this again. Yummy!

Easy to make and delicious to eat. I will make this again with modifying the receipt.

So wonderful and so easy! I chopped two large onions and added it to one pound of rinsed brown lentils and 8 cups of water. I added 6 chunked medium potatoes. Cookes on high pressure for 30 mins (could have gotten away with 25). Adjusted ketchup, liquid smoke and molasses to taste. Added some brown sugar but really not necesaary. Will definitely make again.
