Instructions
  1. Add olive oil to the Instant Pot. Using the display panel select the SAUTE function.
  2. When oil gets hot, add the garlic and smoked paprika. Cook and stir for 1 minute.
  3. Add the heated water and deglaze by using a wooden spoon to scrape the brown bits from the bottom of the pot.
  4. Carefully fan the pasta in the pot (this helps prevent clumping) and ensure it is completely submerged.
  5. Add the frozen shrimp in a single layer--do not stir.
  6. Turn the pot off by selecting CANCEL, then secure the lid, making sure the vent is closed.
  7. Using the display panel select the MANUAL function*. Use the +/- keys and program the Instant Pot for 4 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile, combine the Sauce Mixture ingredients in a bowl.
  9. When the time is up, quick-release the remaining pressure. Stir the pasta, breaking up any clumps.
  10. Add the sauce to the pasta and adjust seasonings. Serve hot topped with chopped parsley or scallions.

Pretty good! Added more sriracha which helped make it more spicy! Thinking of substituting cream cheese for the mayo next time! Will make again with substitutions!

Ugh what a waste of expensive shrimp. This was disgusting. I cook and I cook well, while making the sauce, I said if the idea is spicy cream sauce- why arent we using heavy cream and just the sriracha or just the thai chili sauce. Mayonnaise? Really? Who makes a pasta sauce out of mayonnaise? Should have followed my instincts, I wouldnt even feed this to the stray cats. An insult to household tables everywhere

The recipe was bland for my taste. The shrimp was overcooked. Next time ill add the shrimp after the spaghetti is cooked. Other than that the recipe was very fast and easy.

I attempted quinoa noodles and it was a total flop. I am assuming from the choice of noodles. They just clumped together like paste. The sauce was really good. I used half mayo and half non fat yogurt to cut the calories and it was very tasty and creamy!

We threw away the sauce and ended making our own…too much lime juice in it. There was a lot of water left in the pot after cooking which ended up diluting the sauce, making it very bland. And the shrimp was way over cooked. However, the texture of the linguini was spot on.

Great base recipe, to much water. Back off to 2.-3 cups. Rather than frozen shrimp, saute fresh shrimp in the garlic and smoked paprika, remove while cooking the pasta and replace when you add the sauce.

Tastes great! Too much water in the recipe, but sauce does thicken if left on “warm” setting and pasta does not get overcooked.

This just doesnt taste great at all. I second the suggestion to saute fresh shrimp (the frozen was rubbery and basically inedible in my opinion) but I’m not sure how much it will actually improve the dish. Two stars because my husband didn’t complain and ate plenty of it, but he’s sweet and wants to encourage me to use the instant pot, so it may really be a one-star.

Excellent! I will make it again. I added 2 teaspoons of Honey and reduced the Srirache Sauce to 1/2 teaspoon (too spicy for me).

Amazing! I added fresh pineapple as garnish, and extra red pepper flakes. This recipe is now in our top 10.

This was absolutely disgusting. It was the worst thing I’ve ever ate. Wow! I’m never making this again.

Gonna pass on this one! Love shrimp and love pasta, but the words chili sauce and the word sriracha send me packing. Unfortunately, for some reason the taste of sriracha is so unpleasant to me that I am baffled that anyone could enjoy it! I guess it reveals the diversity that exists even in our individual taste buds!

This was terrible. So glad i decided to saute the shrimp and set aside, so that later when I threw away the disgusting sauce and strained the noodles, I could make a new sauce from scratch and save this dinner from being a total loss for my family.

Ladle out some of the water after cooking before adding the sauce, otherwise great dish.

overall i loved it. there was too much leftover water in the pot when the cooking was done.. i dumped out at least a cups worth into the sink..after mixing it with the bang bang sauce it thickened up and was really good.. Next time i make this i will try using 3 1/2 cups of water instead of 4

So nasty. To much water leftover in pot and the sauce was foul tasting. Should have read reviews first. Will never make again.

Did not try this yet but I love the taste of Bang Bang Shrimp from Bonefish Grill, are the comments from people that didnt like the taste of this dish maybe because they are not familiar with Bang Bang Shrimp?

We loved this meal! I used 3 cups of water instead of 4 and still drained a little before adding the sauce. Used frozen Argentinian Red shrimp, and they turned out perfect!
