Beef It’s What’s for Dinner is funded by the Beef Checkoff. The Beef Checkoff was established as part of the 1985 Farm Bill. It’s a national marketing and research program funded by America’s cattle farmers and ranchers. Cattle farmers, ranchers and importers direct the national checkoff program, which uses funds toward research and promotion efforts designed to increase domestic and/or international demand for beef. The Cattlemen’s Beef Board and USDA oversee the collection and spending of these beef checkoff funds.

Excellent. I had no greek seasoning, so i isef dill , salt , peppwr, and garlic powder. I also used sour cream insyeaf of greek yogurt.
My son’s favorite meal is meatloaf and this is his new favorite version of it. Good stuff.
I added 1/2 can of crushed tomatos to the meatloaf and fresh mint to the yogurt. This was a fantastic dish. I would suggest cooking a little longer to get the internal temp to 160.
Does someone have a picture of what the “sling” looks like, or better instructions?
Hi Joegeri,
Rip off a longish, rectangular piece of foil and place the loaf in the middle of the sheet, with the ends of the loaf pointing to the shortest sides of the rectangle.
Bring the two ends that are furthest apart, together, so you can pinch and hold them with one hand.
You’ll have a kind of tear-drop shape if you look at the outline of the edges of the foil you’re now holding with the loaf sitting in the middle.
Hope this helps!
It was like meat mush. :/
Very tasty. I had to cook it longer to get the temperature up to 165°F.
Easy to make. Tasty and got several meals out if it. Google a recipe and make your own Greek spice blend, it will be worth it.
I bought suvlaki seasoning from Amazon and used 3 parts ground lamb with 1 part ground beef. Mixed it well and formed the loaf thenset it in my fridge for eight hours.
I set it out for 1 hour and cookedit per your recipe. Yummy next time more garlic~
This was my second recipe in my ne 6q IP. We like our meatloaf denser and less crumbly than how this one turned out, and the Greek flavoring was not to our taste, so we won’t make it again. It was very moist and fully cooked, though, so I’ll try another meatloaf with different flavors. The tzaki sauce came out great, and works well as a veggie dip and a fresh chip dip!
Very tasty meal! Both my kids loved it! It did need a little extra time in the oven to brown a bit. Very good meatloaf
This turned out really well. Had to put it in the oven on 350 for 10 minutes after it came out of the pot but it was perfect. The sauce is really great with it too. We will definitely be making this one again.
It was not cooked enough at 25 minutes so I placed it in the oven at 350 for approx. 30 minutes. It finished cooking and browned it up.
Delish but does need a browning phase in the oven. Next time i try i will use half lamb and half beef! Yummy! The sauce rocks!
The flavor is great! Had to cook for 40 minutes instead of 25.
25 minutes is too short. The sauce makes this interesting. Otherwise its just a normal meatloaf that yiu could prepare just as easily and quickly in the oven.
My hubby and I love Greek food, so this was a fun twist for us. We used bison and cut the bread crumbs down a bit to make a firmer loaf. Also, we added a pich of dried mint to the sauce ( thank you to the previous reviews!!) and upped the cook time to 40 mins. Delish!!!
This is the meatloaf for people that love gyros. I made it for dinner last night. Definitely a do-again. The flavor is very similar to the meat you find in gyros, which I love, and the sauce was very similar to what comes with a gyro, too.
Also, I couldn’t find a Greek Seasoning blend at the grocery store, so I Googled it, found a recipe for it on AllRecipes, and mixed it up myself. I already had everything I needed in my spice cabinet, so that worked out well, too. A+++
Delicious. Wish the cucumber-yogurt sauce was a little bit thinner.
Based on the reviews I increased to cook time to 40 mins, it needed some color on the outside, put it in the oven with the broiler on high for about 10 minutes, came out looking very nice. (Note if you poked holes in the foil sling put something oven friendly under it before putting it in the oven)
Modified the mixture to my old standby meatloaf receipe. First time using my instapot. As others have written, mine was a gray, bleeding mass of meat at 25 minutes. Tried a different setting for another 25 minutes. Still not an edible meal. Tossed in the oven for 30 mins at 375 and it was finally done.
Still, just my first try.
Was very yummy. Followed what others said and cooked it for 40mins then let sit for 10 before releasing pressure. Color is a bit weird but it was cooked. Broiled it on low for 10min to crisp.
Followed this recipe and hubs ate his plus the leftovers which never happens!!
The meat loaf was OK but the cucumber yogurt sauce is a stretch. I overdosed on the Greek seasoning as well if you cut that in half there probably would be better
Like everyone else cooking time needs to be increased and you could cut the Greek seasoning 1/2 and be OK I don’t get the yogurt and cucumber sauce it was OK but it didn’t seem to go with the meat loaf that’s a stretch not sure I would try this one again.
Loved it. Even my picky high school kids had seconds! This is not your typical meatloaf. I used two lbs of bison for a healthier option.
