Helpful Tip: Andouille sausage is a fully-cooked sausage sold in the same section as kielbasa and other smoked sausages. The 7 ounces in this recipe is 1/2 package . If your store does not sell andouille, you can simply use regular smoked sausage or “hot” smoked sausage.

Made this recently and really enjoyed it.
This turned out GREAT! Spicy—but really tasty. First thing my husband said was: you need to make this again.
Really good. We made it with chorizo sausage and it was really spicy. Will definately make this again!
Can i make this in a normal insta pot?
Can I make this in a regular instant pot? Does it change the cooking time?

This recipe is designed for our new Ace Blender and not an Instant Pot Multi-Use Pressure Cooker. There isn’t enough liquid in this recipe to properly pressurize in the Instant Pot Multi-Use Pressure Cooker; the cooking times and instructions are different as well.
Excellent!! Spicey with gteat flavor. Made with regular instant pot.
Delicious recipe.
Cooked in Instant Pot Duo. Halved the cooking time to 10 minutes on Soup setting. Served with rice.
1st dish made with the Ace blender. Went as planned, a bit hot though.Definitely garnish with cheese and sour cream to lessen the spicyness. Good dish, but instead of diced , i suggest cutting ingredients into smaller pieces ( except for sausage – make 1 “ cubes) since the soup program #1 is for chunkier soup and the pulsing during cooking is disabled. Still a great dish and takes about 45 min. to do everything!
Why is this under instant pot if it’s a completely different appliance? I pulled up the recipe got all the ingredients together and then saw that I can’t make this in my instant pot. I’ll figure out another recipe with it but it seems kind of silly.
I made it in an instant pot duo as did another reviewer. Took her advise and did 10 min. On soup setting. Put kidney beans at the beginning. Turned out good.
