Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup milk 2%
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 5 tbsp corn starch
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp kosher or sea salt
- 2 cups strawberries hulled
- red food coloring optional
- 1/4 cup beets optional

Instructions
- Add milk and whipping cream to the blender pitcher and secure lid.
- Select “puree 2” setting.
- When the temperature reaches 185℉, select “cancel.”
- Select “pulse/clean” setting and when the blender is blending, remove the lid cap and add the egg yolks and remaining ingredients and flour mixture. replace the lid cap and allow the cycle to complete.
- Select “soup 1” setting and allow the pudding to cook completely.
- Pour pudding into a glass dish and cover with plastic wrap over the entire top surface of the pudding to prevent a film from forming. chill for at least one hour until completely cooled.
- For a deeper red color than is provided from the strawberries, use beets or red food coloring to get desired color.
